Come and discover Khao Sok National Park, one of the oldest tropical forests in the world! We offer here an adventure stay in the jungle and on the lake of Khao Sok. You will sleep in a tree bungalow, jungle hammock and floating bungalow on Chiaw Lan Lake. You discovered some survival techniques in tropical forests, prepare your meals with bamboo.
Koh Mook (or Koh Muk) is known for its magnificent emerald cave which is accessible only by swimming. Very few resorts, still preserved from tourmass ism, this charming little island is mostly inhabited by sea gypsies. It is the ideal starting point to discover the paradisiacal islands of the south of Koh Lanta including Koh Hai (or Koh Ngai), Koh Kradan and Koh Rok

The village of Khao Sok
Before leaving on an expedition on the lake, we offer you a first night in the trees! The Back To The Trees resort offers only 4 bungalows perched on the edge of the Sok River. Ideal for acclimatizing in this lush nature.
Lake Chiaw Lan
You will stay in a Deluxe floating bungalow with private bathroom on the whole of Praiwan, one of the most beautiful on the lake. Depending on the period, we also offer the night in a floating capsule (from 20/12 to 20/04)
Koh Mook
Your villa on the beach: enjoy the resort the most luxurious of the island. Real jewelery set on a white sandbank and bordered by turquoise water, this resort features forty Thai-style villas with traditional palm roofs, local wood and comfortable contemporary interiors.

In Koh Mook, discover with your English-speaking captain of the impressive and fascinating emerald cave, undoubted beauty of the region accessible only by the sea by swimming through a tunnel that takes you to a small white sand beach and incredible turquoise water and a day at sea to discover the most beautiful beaches and seabed in the alentours: Koh Kradan, and its secret paradisiacal beaches, with several mask and snorkel dives throughout the day in a transparent sea!

Arrival in Bangkok and transfer to Khao Sok

- Arrival in Surat Thani, our driver will wait for you there to drive you to the village of Khao Sok (about 1h10 drive). French-speaking welcome and installation of your bungalow perched a few meters from the Sok river. Discovery of the place and briefing of the next 3 days.

Hiking in primary forest, bamboo cooking
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch dinner.

- Breakfast served at the resort restaurant at 8 am. Your guide will join you around 8:30 am for the final preparations. You have prepared a small backpack each for your 3 days of adventures (you will collect the rest of your luggage at the end of the expedition).
- You are then driven to the start of a path about ten kilometers from the hotel. Three hours of walking in a jungle deeper and deeper take you to the shores of Lake Chiew Larn. After a picnic, Another good hour's walk on a rarely used path until reaching the camp site chosen by your guide, by the river. You can enjoy the swimming in the river while the guide and his assistant prepare the camp and the meal. In a few minutes, you see appear glasses plates and pans in bamboo… Then a meal of unparalleled flavor!
- If conditions permit, your guide will suggest a small night walking safari in order to observe insects and frogs ... Even with a little luck, a little Malaysian buckshot or a civet.
- Night in a specialized hammock with integrated mosquito net (comfortable).
Discovery of Lake Chiaw Lan
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch dinner.

- After a wake up in the jungle deep you enjoy a breakfast cooked over a wood fire. You then resume walking until you reach the 4 grotto Then cave of the crossing, 2 old landmarks of the communist rebels. After visiting the caves, a last lunch in the jungle.
- You then join the lake by a well marked path. There you wait for your boat and its captain. Discover the fabulous scenery of Chiew Larn Lake as your captain takes you to your floating resort. Finally enjoy a good swimming in the clear waters of the lake.
- In the late afternoon you retournose on the boat for a safari along the banks. Savor the beauties of the site under the changing lights at the end of the day as your guide tracks down every trace of life… Macaques, semnopithecus, hornbills and eagles are looking for their last meal of the day.
- Retour to the floating bungalows at nightfall. A fish from the lake, a curry and some other Thai delicacies await you for dinner.

Arrival at Koh Mook

- After a morning wake up, probably to the sound of gibbons (at least to the sounds of the jungle), the guide will offer you a second safari (departure of the boat: 7h - you can serve yourself a coffee first!) along the banks after which a small lunch will be waiting for you.
- This is the best time for observe wildlife... With a bit of luck, you can see a group of macaques drinking, a monitor worming on a branch, worms jumping from tree to tree, maybe even gibbons in full concert! (Everything is possible but nothing is guaranteed, of course!)
- After a hearty breakfast it is the moment to enjoy bathing, tranquility of the place or do a little canoe trip ...
- After lunch, your captain takes you back to the lake pier to 14h.
- Transfer by private vehicle direction Trang province to Khuan Tung Ku port (About 4h of road, 250Km). A boat wait for you and 30 minutes later, you are in heaven!

Emerald cave and sunset

- Free morning.15h -20h: Koh Mook and sunset - Discovery of the coral reefs of Mook - Emerald Cave: You will be able to discover a secret lagoon hidden inside the island. The only way is to swim through an underwater tunnel that opens into a surprisingly green tropical paradise intouré of limestone cliffs and a beautiful white sand beach. The cave was a landmark for smugglers and is famous for having been used by pirates as a secret and secluded place to hide their treasure. It is a very touristic which can be visited especially from Koh Lanta. At the end of the afternoon, it is the assurance of being able to soak up the best of this gift of nature. - Freedom beach: Enjoy a magical sunset on a wild beach.
